Can you refuse to cancel a best offer that has been made by a buyer. They said they made offer by mistake. On checking thief profile he’s an experienced seller and buyer. Bit peeved because item was £200 and was subject to £1 selling fees max deal.

If you accepted the offer then strictly the sale is complete. My feeling is that the best way forward is now to open a "non payer" after 2 days and close after a further 4 days. This gets the fees back for you and penalises the buyer.

If you have not accepted the offer then it lapses after [I think] 48 hours and does not prevent bids.
