Hi. How do I deal with a customer who is demanding refund because their estimated delivery date has not been met. I have explained about post office struggiling at the moment and to please allow extra time. But they have put a request in with ebay for refund. Surely its out of my hands when I have posted with correct postage inside the dispatch time. What can I do? Please help 🙂

There have been some reports of sellers having to refund and then the items arriving

You are right that the post is slow at the moment but you can not force your buyer to wait

The can open the dispute and escalate after 3 full days

You need to refund before then as if you dont and ebay step in you will pay the fees and a possible defect

It is very unfair when it is not your fault

Some buyers have come on saying they have received the item and want to pay

but not all buyers are that honest

Make sure the tracking ir 16 digit Post office code is on the listing in your sold section and the dispute
