      <description>&lt;P&gt;No you cannot claim expenses for trying to fix an item received which was not working properly.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You should have opened a case in the Resolution centre and returned it in its “as received” state for a full refund.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If seller pointed out to ebay that you did not return in the same condition it was received in, they might even say he does not have to refund.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You should have opened a case immediately and not wasted money.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
