    <description>&lt;P&gt;I bought a stock of printer ink tanks through Ebay, from the seller who had earlier provided the printer and inks initially.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Having used some of the tanks, I came to 2 remaining tanks which were incorrect and asked the seller to replace them. Having relocated, the seller advised they presently had no stock of the correct tanks and suggested a refund, requesting an invoice number, delivery address and Paypal reference so they could trace the original supply.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Paypal has persistently declined to send my replies to the seller, despite they contain only info copied from Ebay and Paypal records. As a consequence, I can't get a refund.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I understand the policy to prevent purchases circumventing Ebay, but do not accept that blocking a refund from a purchase made through Ebay is in any way ethical practise.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Why are you involving paypal, print off the copy of your payment then send to the seller. That should give all the information the seller needs. Or take a screen shot and attach to an email.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Paypal would not wish to get involved, what with all the complications of the Data Protection Act, it is between you and the seller.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>John,&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the response. The seller has relocated and as yet, I have only the old snail mail address. The only email address is via Ebay - my mails to the seller have simply been to carry screenprint copy attachments of sale and payment records, which Ebay has declined to forward.</description>
