Immediate Payment Required option not there

Hi, I have been buying and selling on and off on Ebay since 2000.

I want to be able to have the immedaite payment required selected on my auctions.

However, this option doesn't show when I list or amend an item, despite me having a verified Paypal account.

I have tried this on an iphone, ipad and also my Laptop. I've tried both the classic view and the new view.

I have looked for answers on this, but some of the replies are years old.

It appears I may have to upgrade to a Paypal Business Account, to have this option. The problem is I don't have a business.

I am reluctant to upgrade my Paypal account, as I don't have a business, and this would be in effect 'fraud'.

Please can anyone help me with what to do?

immediate payment is only an option for Buy It Now listings,

you can't have immediate payment for auction style listings as the winning bidder may not be online when the auction ends

if you want immediate payment you will have to list in the fixed price format only

Yes, I understand that. This option isn’t available for me in Buy It Now Listings.

what are you using to access ebay?

if you are using the app swap to the full site and use the business listing tool, ignore the warning that it isn't suitable
