I am trying to support independent persons by buying on Ebay as appose to Amazon and I am getting some items from Amazon. I looked it up and some sellers are selling items that are cheaper on Amazon for a higher price, buying directly from Amazon and posting to the buyer, thus making a profit. I want Ebay to be aware as I will no longer be buying from Ebay for this reason until they prohibit as I am deliberately trying to help small sellers and not iprofit Amazon.

you do realise that Amazon has small independent sellers as well as big businesses, the same as ebay?

some sellers sell on ebay and Amazon and have their stock stored in the Amazon warehouses and when you buy from them the item is sent directly from the Amazon warehouse,

listing on ebay and then buying from an Amazon seller once it sells is against ebays rules and you can report any seller that does this.

Thank you, that's true, I still do not wish to shop at Amazon and it should not be down to the buyer to manage by reporting each purchase. Ebay should take stronger measures to warn sellers as it seems to be widespread. It makes it confusing for the customer and the fact that they use Amazon at all is against what some buyers want, especially as they are potentially profiting from price differences. Its easier just not to shop at Ebay for this reason it seems.
