Question Using email to reply to eBay messages in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

Using email to reply to eBay messages

For years I've used my Gmail account to reply to messages that have come from eBay buyers.

But today, that seems to have stopped working with communications being blocked by eBay.

Anyone know why?

If you are sending your buyer messages through your private email (which gives your buyer your private email address). eBay may be seeing that as the start of an off-eBay deal which eBay do not like as it deprives them of their Final Value fees.

It is better to reply to the eBay message from your buyer directly through the original eBay message.
