Opening ebay shop

Hi I have just opened a new personal account and wish to open a shop. When I try to do this it says "y You do not have a valid billing eBay account. Please provide a valid account before choosing your Shop. Billing account

All my billing details are correct?

You do now have the shop icon next to your ebay ID so it looks like you have been successful.

However I would question why you have gone to the expense of opening a shop so quickly particularly on a private seller account. You will still have to pay the monthly subscription fee for the shop even if you don't sell anything.

Also just in case you're not aware, a private seller is someone who is selling their personal possessions/decluttering. If you are buying or making items to sell then you need to register as a business seller and you don't need to have a shop to trade as a business seller.
