Question New timescale for returns in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

The new timescale for returns. I see someone has complained of the timescale for the Buyer, 8 days, as ridiculously short. So 3 days to respond by the Seller is ok then. So the Seller is away on holiday for 7 days and the computer is at home. They gets back home and, not only are they short of an item, they have also lost the full cost including postage. Do Ebay pay for the item if the buyer then says they have not got it. Well done. Yet again, Ebay nails the private seller into the floor without any consideration.

Sellers should end all listings 2 weeks before going away to sort out issues like this.

A lot of buyers were asking why they had to wait 8 days before escalting case to ebay when they knew seller had been removed, so guess ebay have reacted.
