Question Postage query in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

I have received numerous messages from a seller demanding extra costs for postage as the item I bought actually cost more to post than he had charged. Correct me if I'm wrong but should I be liable for this after PayPal costs have gone through? It's not a lot just really vexed by the constant messages tonight threatening to leave negative feedback if I don't pay!! Surely the reason for stating postage costs is to ensure ur adequately covered!

Hi. You are the Buyer?

if so, a seller cannot demand extra postage costs if they have just made a mistake.

Plus a seller cannot leave a red negative dot for a Buyer. A Buyer can for a seller though.

I would pay the invoice showing winning bid and original postage cost. Buyers do not pay Paypal charges.

I would tell the seller that they are not allowed to up the postage just because they have made a mistake...plus Sellers lost the right to leave a Buyer a negative years ago and you have paid for the item and look forward to receiving it soon.

No one should threaten anyone over feedback...that is feedback extortion which can be reported to Ebay. I would be inclined to tell the seller that unless they stop sending you unpleasant messages then you will be contacting ebay who can read the messages between you. (Yes they can if sent through Ebay messages)

Hope the above helps.
