    <description>&lt;P&gt;A customer has returned an item after 30 days so the only way I could refund was through PayPal. I asked eBay to refund my seller fees that they have done but must have cancelled the original purchase in order to do that and it's now on my seller performance as a defect saying that I cancelled it as it was out of stock. I have appealed and they have turned it down saying the customer has had a less than positive buying experience! I feel sure the customer must be delighted that I actually allowed such a late return and refunded them but eBay say I can't escalate the problem now they've made a decision and disallowed the appealon the defect. Has anyone any ideas please regarding what I can do if this happens again? Or if there's any way I can do anything with this 1? TIA&lt;/P&gt;</description>
