I purchased a game. It came via a download. The game does not work. A return proceedure gave me a return label in order to get a refund. Since purchase was downloaded, what do I return???

There is No Buyer Protection for Downloads on Ebay. They're not allowed to be Sold on here. You have nothing to Return have you?

Many games and software sold on EBay. Some can be very expensive. Hard to believe they are not allowed.

They may be seen as listed but that does not mean they are allowed. They have slipped through the net, once they are spotted and reported, if they are breaking a selling reg, they will be removed. There is a report item function on every listing.

Downloads are not allowed, for the very reasson eBay's 30 day Money Back Guarantee works on the principle that a buyer HAS to send the item back to the seller to receive a full refund.

Nothing to send back with downloads, hence the restriction.

Understand. I have downloaded software in the past with no problem. I was unaware that this was not allowed.
