ok , first time here... so ive found and bought an item not as discribed, " send it back i hear you say". well yes i could, but that is not why im here. I am here because the item was advertised as a branded and manufactured tool, with a matching price. But i recieved a substandered knock off that was probably made down a back ally in china, if you get my drift.

maybe i havn`t looked hard enough but i dont seem to have found a propper e bay complaints department for fraudulant behaviour. Any help / guidence woud be help full. thanks.

All you can do, is open a case for item not as described in the Resolution Centre link at foot of most pages. Enter the tracking number of the item sent back. It gives the seller now an extended time of 5 days to refund you. If they do not , you escalate the case and eBay step in and fully refund you.

If you escalate the case, it gives the seller a defect., It does not take too many defects to close a Private seller's account down permanentl;y. As would the receiving of many rerturns due to selling fake items.

Cases do work .
