    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello lovely people&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I hope someone her can help me&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I recently returned an item but did not use the printed label as I don't have a printer&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I sent it tracked and have the tracking number&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have no problem with the seller, they have communicated very well with me&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also bought a more expensive replacement from the seller, that one works fine&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have sent the seller a message saying that I have returned the item (30th April) and the tracking number&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The seller has been efficient, polite and professional throughout&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problem is that I just received a message from eBay saying that unless I return the item in the next 2 days they will close the return and I will not be able to get a refund.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;There is no option to indicate that I returned the item unless I print the label. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I just spend a very frustrating 10 minutes in eBay chat with a droid of some kind, just kept on giving me unhelpful information&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How do I let eBay know that I have returned the item without printing the label?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have no reason to think that the seller will behave badly over this but I always try to ensure that I am protected in my transactions and feel a bit anxious about the message from ebay saying that they will close the return if I do not send the item back, especially as I sent it back 5 days ago&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Am I still covered by paypal as long as I have the tracking number?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes,&amp;nbsp; you are covered with a valid tracking number.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is there just nowhere to add a tracking number into the case opened. I believe the problem may lie in the fact the seller provided a label,&amp;nbsp; that number is automatically registered into the case once posted.&amp;nbsp; Didn't know you cannot over ride this , by adding a tracked number from postage you paid yourself.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Contact eBay CS,&amp;nbsp; from the Help &amp;amp; Contact tab above.&amp;nbsp; Lines are doen due to Covid,&amp;nbsp; but there is a Live Chat,&amp;nbsp; scroll around until you find that option.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Thank you tressygirl&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;After several failed attempts I eventually managed to speak to a real live person via the facility for ebay to call me back.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The call handler was an absolutely lovely person, looked at my messages and refunded me immediately.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If anyone else is in the same situation I would advise them to keep trying to get through to ebay by telephone and to have the tracking number to hand and to do that once you have confirmation that the item has been delivered =.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks again &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Yes a valid tracking number showing delivery is essential to have,  and will win you cases for a refund.</description>
