Just a heads up.

Despite overwhelming evidence that there is disruption to the postal service Ebay are carelessly allowing negative feedback related to postal delays. Also the number of Items Not Received requests are increasing significantly.

We sell a lot of low value items under 100grams in weight which means they can't be economically tracked.

The warm words from Ebay about protecting sellers seem empty and worthless. Very disapponted in Ebay's response when we get in touch, which appears lazy and lacklustre. There are also a significant number of buyers that are taking advantage of the current issues with delivery.

Any suggestions?

eBay are removing all neg f/b to do with postal delays but have warned it may take a few days.

I've seen no evidence of this, and when I have contacted Ebay they gave been useless, bereaucratic, defensive and obstructive, up to the post where it is possible to infer that warm words uttered publicly are not backed up by any action. If you have an inside track on this process, I would be very interested.

When challenged on this, Ebay are standing by negative feedback relating to postal delays. If anyone has had experience of such feedback being removed I'd be very interested, my own experience suggests that policy is not being backed by action. I may come across as grumpy, but I'm in the 5th hour of dealing with vexatious claims about delays and non-delivery this evening.
