Question Invoice 033120-2884390290034 in Member To Member Support DO NOT DELETE

I have been charge £39.96 and £59.94 on on this invoice, both of which should not be there.

On the same invoice the £39.96 has been refunded but the £59.94 has not. I have been automativcally charged and need my money back.

Please help?!

Frustratingly there seems to be no way to contact ebay to sort this.

Why do you think you should not have been charged? Are they listing fees or selling fees? If you want our help more info is needed, if you want ebays you have to persevere with help and contact.

You do know that reserve listing fees are payable even if an item doesn't sell?

You listed an item twice times with a reserve

REserves are 4% of the reserve price and you pay them whether the item sells or not

Best to start at a price you are willing to accept and then you do not pay any upgrade sees

It tells just before you Submit your listing how much that listing will cost you

You will be automatically charged because every time you List with a Reserve you pay an Upgraded Listing Fee of 4% whether the Item Sells or Not. Don't use a Reserve they are totally unnecessary. Just list your Item for the Price you want for it.

the fees should be there,

you added a reserve,

reserves cost 4% of the reserve set, and you have to pay this fee even if the item doesn't sell

Thanks for your reply I appreciate it. Users more helpful than the platform provider!

When I listed the item, it said "list with displayed fees". The only fees on the page were around 50p and I had only listed it because there was an offer on.

I've been charged £60 on a reserve on £1001 and only set it because a note on the screen suggested i do!

When you add the reserve price the amount it will cost pops up in a box next to it so you can see how much the reserve costs

Thank you for this. I'm sure I'd have seen that!
Even then I should've been charged £40 not £60 since the reserve was £1001
I have it on an auto relist which it says is free. Odd question I know, but is this definitely the case? Nothing hidden? I only ask since I truly feel eBay hide costs as best they can

Auto relist is free if you have any of the 1000 free listings but if you have a reserve on when it relists then you pay that again every time it relists

Have you checked your account

Ebay dont usually get their fees wrong

Just to let you see. You could do a draft listing ( without submitting it ) put in the details with the reserve and see if the price pops up
When you go to the bottom of the page you can see what the charges are
Of course Dont whatever you do list it Just discard the draft

if you hit the list button before the page has refreshed to show all the fees you have incurred you may not have seen all the fees, you should always refresh the page, or wait for it to fully load, before clicking the list button,

if the item relists, you are charged the reserve fee again
