    <description>&lt;P&gt;You stand on your head to give a 100% accurate, completely honest item description. Joe buyer doesn't bother reading it. Then he decides he's going to start a return. He doesn't tell you that though. Ebay don't tell you either. You only find out by a complete fluke when you're checking your emails on Yahoo. You look into it and discover the buyer has "changed his mind" because he's already got what he just bought from you. How does that make sense? Clearly when you pointed out TWICE that the CD box set you were selling had a disc missing he wasn't reading and that's why he's sending it back. He certainly has no other reason. He doesn't say anything because he's feeling embarrassed for being such a lamebrain and ebay don't say anything because that's just typical of ebay. So basically, the buyer has LIED. There must be something you can do about it, right? WRONG! There's NOTHING you can do about it. Even their useless customer service help desk people gave up and went home half an hour earlier and we're heading into the easter weekend and we have an epidemic (oh no, sorry, it's a PANdemic, and that makes all the difference,) so for several days we're facing being dealt with by the youngest, stupidest member of staff, that's if anybody is there at all. So we try to do SOMETHING about this ourselves because we're really, REALLY angry now, and frustrated too. We're in the right, yet somehow we're being shafted anyway and we don't like that. We can't stop the return. We can't contact customer services. We cant report the buyer because what he has done (lying and wasting our time, basically) does not come under any of the headings ebay are now forcing us to select from. We CAN block him (because having been in similar circumstances before we have created a shortcut to the nigh-on impossible to find blocked buyers page), and we do, but that doesn't help with the current problem. All we can do, we THINK, is leave negative feedback, and we know that though he might not be so happy about receiving it, he has no redress anymore (been on the wrong side of that before - and most unjustly - too). So we click on "leave feedback", which we see as our last resort, and we discover that we are only allowed to be positive about our negative experience with this git. No real world shop would be able to get away with what ebay does. No real world shop customer would be able to get away with what gits like this do. What can we do about it? No matter whether I'm buying or selling, every time something goes wrong, ebay are always 100% on the other guy's side, even though he is always clearly in the wrong. Just like the police, they come down 100% on the side of whoever acts first and consider everything you try to do in response to be "retaliation". This is just stupid and something needs to be done about it. Every time ebay change something they make it worse. I've been on here in various guises since 2003. Back then the good guys didn't have their hands tied behind their backs. They could actually defend themselves. They could take action. They could respond. Ebay has neutered us. Emasculated us. Nanny state and all that. They won't do anything to help us and they actively and deliberately prevent us from doing anything to help ourselves. I am so angry I would shoot up cybertown if I could. I'm more annoyed about ebay tying my hands behind my back than I am about being diddled. Nuff said.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I found it very difficult to read with no paragraphs&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There is no point in ranting on here as it is a quick question and answer thread.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;It is unfair but on ebay you have to expect this now and again&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You deal with the problem and put it behind you&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The buyer opens the dispute (unfairly yes) and you send a pre paid label for the return&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once you have it back you refund&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Sellers have not been able to leave negatives for buyers for a long time now&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Yes I remember 2003 and ebay is a much different world now&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;As regards CS then as you say there is a pandemic and people are ill an dying and many self isolating&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;so more to worry about than problems on ebay&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Many companies are in the same position&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have a problem and it is impossible to get sorted as the CS centre of the company involved are closed&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You dont need to contact ebay you just deal with this through the resolution centre and then move on&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There is always someone on here to help with problems if needed&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
