Some time ago, I sold a quantity of thimbles on ebay, the buyer paid and I used Hermes to collect and deiver the package. I used printed forms from ebay and left the parcel at the local collection point where I was given a receipt for that and another parcel, the receipt just had the date and number of parcels noted on it.

The parcel was shown as colected by Heremes from the collection point, but was never delivered and never found.

Hermes refuse to refund the £25 cover included in the postage cost and they tell me to contact Ebay.

I can find nothing on Ebay to see how they can/will help.

Has anyone else managed to get a settlement from Hermes.

As a result of this experience I will no longer sell on Ebay.

You did not purchase shipping or insurance frokm Hermes you bought it from Packlink & you claim from them

Even when you claim on Packlink, you may find that you are not coverd. It is a good idea to read the T & C of these companies BEFORE using them, in many cases breakable items are not covered.

Hermes did suggest to contact ebay, you said this before.
