Err no, that is not in eBay rules.

You should always list your items for the lowest price you are happy to receive, you cannot later ask for more money.

If you do not honour the sale , and not post out the item, you will pay a seller fee, and will also get a damaging defect on your account. For private sellers, it only takes one or two defects to close an account down permanently.

Is that your listing? it seems that's for a brooch sold by an US seller so wondering why it's important to you.

Price that the auction ends at is the price the buyer pays, you cannot change it.

you should have bid more if you wanted that item,

you are not allowed to contact the actual winner of the item and offer them more, that is against the rules

Unlikely that you will be able to trace the buyer on the UK site ... you could try asking on your USA home > www.ebay.com < but chances of making contact are extremely remote.

the op isn't the seller, they bid on the item but were outbid, they want to offer the winner more money for it

the item was sold by an American seller, the OP was the under bidder, they want to contact the buyer and offer them more money for the item

I would think that rules in the USA are the same as here, you sell, buyer pays you send out item.

You cannot ask for more money, if you want more you list at a higher price. Failure to honour the sale will get you negative feedback, which would take you back to O Feedback and your % would be bad enough to put off any more buyers.

There is no way to do this

eBay do not allow you to contact another member who won an item ahead of you & you are not allowed to offer the seller more & they are not allowed to contact the winning bidder for you
