Any news on the problem with the Bidding Scheduler website blocking random bids? Also is there a work round for it?

eBay are doing their best to block all third party snipe sites - they feel they represent an unacceptable security risk.

The only way to be sure your snipe gets through is to do it the old fashioned way - yourself.

Not convenient for me. I've got kids so can't hover over my phone for bidding!

Most Sellers now offer Buy It Now or Best Offer. Remembering to Bid at a certain time can be a challenge.

you don't need to,

just place your maximum bid and let ebays auto bid service do the bidding for you, you don't need to use a snipe site, or hover over your phone

I think a lot of you don't understand what the difference is between "bid sniping" and eBay's automatic bidding. There's a very good reason why these 3rd party sites exist. In short they keep auction prices low and that's why eBay/PayPal don't want people using them. They collect less selling and commission fees. It's all about more profit for eBay/PayPal not user convenience. To solve the problem, for an example eBay needs to look at why users put 99p no reserve listings in? Why would a sane person do?

Bidding Scheduler is nothing to do with eBay

Third party sniping websites are not strictly allowed by eBay

The use of such sites can be blocked by eBay as they breach the site T&C

Giving your login details to a 3rd party is never advisable

Using such a site removes ALL protection you had
