Upcoming EU-wide VAT changes:

As mentioned in the autumn 2020 seller update, effective from 1 July 2021, there will be changes to the VAT treatment of imports into the EU, as well as certain shipments within the EU. Please make sure you’re informed of your VAT obligations.

Hi, for 17 years trading on ebay I have always had around 30% of my total sales from ebay customers in the EU. From 1st January this turned off like a tap. I have had 1 ebay order from a new EU customer in 8 weeks. I suspect - maybe someone could confirm - that this is because I have to still have to include UK VAT in my listing price (even though EU customers are exempt at the UK end so should pay less) and ebay now also collect VAT from the buyer on top. Very damaging. Has anyone else had this experience ?
