Can't send any offers to sellers today

As a seller not had an offer for 2 days

According to 'buyer' forum server is down?

It's daily glitches

An update would be nice eBay???

There is a major eBay server issue affecting buyers and sellers alike, you are not alone.

eBay are aware, and working on this, but it is intermittent, so perhaps try a little later on today, or even tomorrow.

However, if it's the app that you're using, some peeps have found uninstalling and reinstalling the app , the account is then accessible.

But is anything broke? I checked down detector and it reported possible trouble but only 3 comments in 24 hours (so nothing decisive)

I had 2 offers come in over night and one purchase yesterday. (I didn't try and buy anything - but went as far as checkout - and make an offer - on an item of mine and all seemed fine. ) I can also see I have got 40 watchers in 24 hours.

Yes - it is VERY quite for a payday weekend but but is it just quiet?

@tressygirl where did you get your info from about a major outage?

I've just managed to make an offer using 'Brave'

Google Chrome still not working , used different devices, WiFi, mobile data etc

We are all getting the same error, looks like server

I'm on google chrome and just bought something. And someone just sent me an offer which I counter-offered. Plus no one has messaged me complaining (which they do when they want something).

And usually if the site is down the business boards are rife.

I don't think most people are affected???

Its working perfectly, I can send offers to potential buyers even if the item has no one watching the item and no one has looked at it in the last 30 days, cant see a problem realy.

Some buyers can't make offers.

80% of my sales are via offers so it's a problem

Counter offers working fine

It seems to be only affecting some of us

No one has agreed on this thread (except tressygirl yesterday)

I honestly think this may be just you, or even not just you but just a quiet weekend. I agree sales are horrendous - but if it was an ebay outage the boards would be flooded.

Hi, @sheba-knows-best it was in all the major newspapers, on national tv news, and a friend who works in eBay HQ CaliforNiA emailed me about it .

Not sure if it's all completelyfixed think it's still impacting accounts , I was told it's intermittent , so some are lucky others just cannot land on any aspect in their account.

ebay acknowledged there are/has been technical problems back on the 27th when it all started. This was tucked away under news > announcements

Negative or Neutral Feedback related to the intermittent technical issues

The problems seem to have rumbled on, albeit intermittently, since then. ebay hasn't added any information since the above was posted. But from what I've seen on sites like down detector it has been a multi-country issue.

No plot at all! Even one of our Community managers last week said there were big server issues which could be impacting a poster who was asking why they couldn't access their account.

Last Monday the entire site went down across the world, a dos attack. Google it

I only wanted to make an offer and buy an item this weekend, what a mission.........

Not at all... I'm just surprised there have been so few people complaining on the boards which is where I usually judge the extent of a problem. My 'plot thickens' comment was related to my poor sales for a payday weekend - frankly, if ebay tech were to blame I'd be relieved but I suspect it is a sign of things to come in my category which is hugely impacted by cost of living, V_, pre-loved initiatives by large retailers and private/business seller issue.

It may be that we haven't been hit as badly as other countries; we've become so used to glitching that we don't complain as much or people are no longer coming to these boards. There has been a noticeable dip in traffic across the boards.
