Hi! what a great idea to have a photography thread! 😄
I love seeing peeps pics lol
I got a new camera for my birthday in May and I'm learning how to use it lol I'm not very good at it by the way... but I am trying! :^O

Did anyone watch Springwatch with Bill Oddie?...Simon was following Ospreys in Scotland
Well.... this is the nest of the Ospreys they were filming at Boat of Garten.
They had 3 chicks but one of them died and the other two were about 54days old and ready to fledge any day when I took these pics a week and a half ago....they flew from the nest a couple of days later! lol
The nest is quite far away from the hide (about 1/6th of a mile) so I couldn't get any close-ups lol

This is the male parent arriving at the nest with a small fish to feed the young....

And this is him leaving...

The 2 chicks (although not very clear because of the distance)
You can see the camera they film with next to the old nesting tree on the right....they hand built the current nest a few years ago and flung white paint on it to make it look used! lolol they really did!...and the ospreys took to it straight away lol
When the chicks have flown from the nest...can feed and are a bit stronger...they will all fly to Africa then return to Scotland next year to breed again.
