I know I live in a reasonably quiet village, but when I go and see my Doctor ( because I've got back ache ) and he produces a Doll out of his desk drawer; with my face on it and takes a pin out of it, that was sticking in it's back and then says......"there is that better".....I kinda think the Crystal Ball was the way forward.

My late mother had one, she swore she could see things in it and I remember sitting with her and an old pal of hers listening to them chatting away about what they saw. She sat me down often and got me to gaze into it till I was boss eyed, but nothing happened. I now have it sitting in its open box on a bed of dark blue velvet looking very decorative, because that i all it is use for!!!"
