Quick techie question.

I could have asked on the Techie's board but this isn't really their area of expertise.

As far as techie gadgets go, our #3 son is pretty well stocked up.

He has an iPad 3 with WI-FI and 3G, a 17" laptop (owned by his work but he gets 24/7 use of it) and a Windows desktop computer.

So, bearing that in mind, can you guys tell me why he would need an iPod Nano? Reason I ask is that the Dragon Lady wants to get him one for Christmas. The thing is, we're struggling to come up with a pressie for him that won't be stuck in a drawer until next year. So is an iPod Nano a good idea or should we stick to Plan "B" and go with a dressing gown? (He's 41)

Depends Stevie on howmuch of a music anc and gadget freak no.3 son is.

If he eats breaths and sleeps music then I would go for the nano, although all his other equipment will deal with music the nano as far as I am aware would give far more musically than those as it is really only for music and it is mobile and can connect to sound systems etc.

If he is more for eat breaths and sleeps more then the dressing gown may be a wonderful addition to his wardrobe.

Decisions decisions.

Give him a token gift of socks, pants etc and some cash to spend as he likes...........that way you get it correct.

Unless he is walking about in the nuddy.........in which case the dressing gown would be essential.
