Ok. This google thing just happened to me. I understand what has happened, so how do I sort this mess out? I just bought and paid for an item using the 'new' account. I don't want this so can I just delete it or will it affect my purchase? Is there a way of merging the two accounts?

Hi as a seller myself there can be issues with delivery and on occasion this is the fault of the company used to deliver , saying that to ignore you and not reply to your question is very rude, I would request a refund as you have not received your item nor had any explanation.

Hi, I was about to do the same after days of being caught in a loop of changing passwords and clearing my system and using different search engines.

I changedMy password and then My user name and guess what its worked. I dont know why and I dont care as long as it works .

I have lost sales because of this and blame EBAY as it never happened before so why dont they leave things that are working alone. The saying if its not broken don't fix it comes to mind.

Dont worry about your positive feedback etc as this is all trnsfered to you new account details.

Check ... My eBay > Activity > Purchase history > Orders ... the estimated delivery date will be shown there and cannot be changed ... open a 'Not received' case a day after that given date using 'More actions' tab there ... or >

Despite the dismissive comments in your replies so far, I would endorse what you say. I also was searching for something specific, and the listings that I got as a result bore no resemblance to what I wanted. I have used "Advanced search" and have not found it particularly good either. Surely this puts buyers off?

I both buy and sell on e bay, and use it regularly, but many other people tend to dip into it rather than being regular users and this search engine will not encourage purchases if people cannot find what they want. If e bay becomes too difficult and messy to use, there are many other options online now.

I would add here that gone are the days of the 99p listing with a flat rate fee of 30p levied by e bay on every transaction, and in general higher fees. Perhaps someone should have advised that a higher proportion of lower sales is at best the same as a lower proportion of higher sales, and wiping out the bottom end of the market may not be a clever move.

If you've been blocked by a seller but you don't know the reason WHY then just set up what I call a 'ghost account'. Using the English spelling of my name (not to mention another email address), I set one up to buy stuff from those sellers who, for some daft reason, won't accept bids or offers otherwise. I tried using the email address I use for my Google account but, because that was used before, eBay won't let me - b******s!

Returns are automated so yo uneed to go through resolution centre.

Do an "item not as described" return.

You will have to return the item and will get your money back.

Also ebay also have some seller protection.

Thye sometimes remove bad feedback for sellers they think are good.

Like sellers who give returns within 3 0days whatever the reason.

EBay and Paypal have a system to allow faulty items to be returned for refund if they are faulty when received. They do not deal with Warranties though and -buying on line - there is no easy way to enforce anything I'm afraid
