HOW DO I TAKE OUT category RESTRICTIONS??

Hi They limited my account and I cannot sell anything in clothes,shoes and accessories and I don't know why!!

The only problem I had was once I sold 5 books and I shipped them with second class, after buyer said he didn't receive it and I told him we can do claim toghether to post office. He didn't reply anymore and opend a case agains me on paypal. I sent to paypal the receipt as proof of posting but they still deducted the all money from my paypal account and they gave it back to the buyer.

Is it because of this that I have restrictions? Even if this case was for an item in a different category than the one I have restrictions now??

How do I take it out??It's already 3months I can't sell clothes and most of the stuff I need to sell is clothes!!!

 

p.s. ebay customer service never replied to me please help!!!

If they sent you an email, have that to hand, as they may ask you for the number at the bottom.

hi, most sellers have restrictions when selling branded clothes (in some cases as low as 3 per month), this is most likely the issue, it is nothing to do with the case that was opened against you in the past, the only way to get higher selling limits is to remain a good seller receiving good feedback and you will eventually be able to list a greater amount.

I doubt whether the restriction has any connection with this case, or it would have applied to everything you sell not just clothing.

 

From the way you write you still seem to be implying that you were hard done by over the lost books.

 

If you haven't done so already, click on the link in any auction to eBay buyer protection, and take a few minutes to read it. It's important to know what eBay makes sellers responsible for, including refunding for loss or damage in the post. It's the seller and not the buyer who claims from Royal Mail.

 

Cases will damage your standing as a seller and there's no point in bringing them on yourself just because you haven't read the user agreement.
