There are listing limits for all new users, doesn't matter whether they register as a business or not.

 it depends what you selling allowance is

 

 there is no increase for shop holders except most are registered as a business seller and tell the tax man so they get more listings anyway

A private seller with a shop needs 75 buy it now listings per month to break even on the fees.

 

As you seem to sell on auction you won't make any saving on fees. You'll just be spending £14.99 per month for a shop.

 

In my opinion a shop is totally inappropriate for a private seller selling used goods.

 

Your listing allowance is based on you and your account. A shop is merely a way to display your items.

It's nothing to do with a shop, Your selling allowance is based on the state of your account..
