de-listing and selling an item

I have just re-listed an item, but had an enquiry from a member who didn't get chance to bid the first time. Can I de-list and sell to him via invoice on ebay? if so, how?

Delisting to do a private sale is against Ebay rules and they obviously do not provide a facility to send invoices for Off Ebay deals.

One way is simply to add a "buy it now" price which he accepts. Only works if no bids.

If the item has been relisted, just invite him to bid now.  If you started the listing at the minimum price you can accept, you can then end the listing early to sell to the highest bidder.
