I got mine free over the PO counter after seeing this link then mentioning it. I found that it does work after doubting as it was bending when used. After wrapping a 99p small plush figure thinking i could send it 2nd class for £2.60 shock of my life when quoted £5.30 medium parcel for a 6" toy whos head was a couple mm too thick.

A 6"x6"x6" inch cardboard box fits snuggly inside the cube they have been issued
That's why I buy 15 cm cube boxes now-no need to go faffing around measuring. And some items can go in on the slant, and be longer than 15 cms

I would be stunned if they ever checked regards a company name..if it is a case that you worry that you don't have one what is to say that it is just about to become a company...and then coincidentally you then changed your mind
Could be any name really...what about calling it "stock plot" but it could be any one of a billion possibilities

Thank you for this! I could only also find extortionately priced ones on eBay. I was quite surprised to see one person on this thread buying loads to sell for a profit... I just hope those poor souls find this thread first!

It looks as if you can now only access it if you are registered with Royal Mail.
This link takes you to their 'contact us' phone number - maybe ring them and ask for a template?

these are great.. it helps get your parcel into the chepest section.. i wish more sellers would have them.. instead of saying a t shirt will have to go large parcel at 5.20 all the time.. if they just packed it differently.

http://www.royalmail.com/parcel-template-order-form - 'access denied', even for business customers now. They no longer give the cardboard template out.

I was speaking to a Post Office worker the other day and they said Royal Mail are currently reviewing the Medium Parcel Rate as they have been losing too much money since it was brought in. He seemed to think there would be some changes happening soon.. I hope he is right.

iIhave just spoken to my local little post office , big ones proberly will not do this but he has said if i pop in with some card board he will draw the sizes that are required , that way i can cut it out and use it as a guide
may be worth asking at your local post offices
hope this helps
