returning an item

bought an item that turned out to be defective (dont 100% blame the seller as it may be the manufacturers fault). anyway i requested a return on the 28th of september and shipped it out on the 30th of september via first class signed for and roy mail shows the item as being delivered on the first of october but the ebay return shows the item hasnt been delivered. any help?

 

ok thanks i didnt know ebay were having problems with the returns thing, il try to call them in the morning

 

also yeah i uploaded the tracking information half an hour fater it was shipped

There have been complaints about eBay's handling of this issue, they are being very slow to update their tracking system.  Phone customer support tomorrow morning when the lines reopen and be polite but firm: you want your refund.
