eBay declined refund and closed case after not receiving my item

I've not received an item I bought a few weeks ago and after trying to resolve it with the seller I opened a case. But because the seller finally provided tracking details ebay have decided to not give me a refund and close the case. The tracking details the seller provided, however, state that the item was 'left in the porch' but i dont even have a porch? I looked all around my house and even checked with neighbours but it doesnt seem to be anywhere! Ive contacted MyHermes who was the delivery company the seller used and they said they would get back to me but I'm still waiting. I'm getting rather furstrted now. I dont find it fair that I should be out of pocket when I havent received the package. The seller is being so rude and unhelpful too which doesnt help matters.

 

Is there anything I can do about this even though ebay closed the dispute? Please help...
