How to withdraw an item that has been listed for auction

Someone who has bought an item from me on eBay might be interested in another item I have listed for auction. If he wants it. how do I stop the auction - there are currently no bids.

Then they need to bid for it and buy it through ebay. If you do an off eb ay sale then you are breaking the rules. You will be depriving ebay of fees and they don't take kindly to that. After all your buyer only found you because you listed an item on ebay so it is only fair that you pay for that.
