can someone buy something from Amazon get it sent to me as a gift and then charge me £7.00 more

I did not want to buy from Amazon so chose to buy a new item on Ebay. It was £7.00 more expensive but I do not wish to buy from Amazon.

The seller on Ebay did no more than purchase this item from Amazon, had it sent to me as a gift and pocketed the £7.00. I doubt if there are any rules prohibiting this, but this really is the pits.

@bestbeez

Yes it is drop shipping & the seller will not be pocketing £7 as they will have 13% + in fees to pay based on the total amount you paid

Many sellers use Amazon as a fulfilment service, dropshipping is permitted.  You didn't buy from Amazon, you bought from a seller on eBay and the item you wanted was delivered to your door.  Is the item satisfactory?
