Just wondering if this is affecting sales too as there has been no "sold items" indicated in my particular category since 6.10am this morning. (All sellers). Anyone else seeing a similar situation?

We have to put up with these faults because they are constantly changing things. I expect work is being done in the background and then things get broken.
It happens too often to be just general unfortunate problems. Ebay's attempts at progress and updates causes so many problems.
Maybe in the future we will have a week with no broken service or features.

I got a message but I can't see the message content.
When trying to reply says Email send failure.
Tried Contact member I get This message cannot be sent at this time.
Grrrr... eBay is there a day when there are no glitches and errors?!? Is that too much to ask???

Friday maintenance is to blame I think...
But still no announcement for this issue. eBay you should put something on the notice boards so people would know that there are problems with the messaging system. Or are you too big to admit any problems... Or maybe it never happened eh? It's all in our heads...

Does anyone have a direct link for reporting these technical errors / glitches? I am sick of the Help & Contact MAZE - going round in circles and clicking options in a hope that I will get to the Chat option eventually ?!?

We're still making sales, although one has been repeated, but I can't contact the customer to establish if it's a glitch.
I circumvented ebay's poor service by emailing direct to the email address that they used for payment, they probably think I'm phishing now.
Also went into sales record and they had a number given, but that went straight to voicemail.
So all in all, an extra 15 minutes of work generated on one transaction trying to establish if they have also been the victim of an ebay glitch not confirming that their order has been placed....
If I wanted to work for nothing today I'd be doing my VAT return, if I wanted to work for someone else, I'd be an employee!!

Why ebay are looking into fixing the messages - can you ask them to also fix not being able to attach photos when replying to buyers via ebay messaging????

LOL, so I'm not the only one. I wanted to reply to a message I received from a buyer who told me they were very happy with the product purchased from me. I couldn't reply so she'll think I'm being ignorant.

Having trouble responding to messages from sellers using my laptop, wont connect at all.
Used my tablet to respond, that was a bit better.
You would think a company as big as ebay would resolve these problems quickly!!
