I had buyer who won item but did not pay

Open and then subsequently closed unpaid item case when no reponse to e-mails etc

Buyer has now e-mailed to say they had accident and where in hospital but would still like item is there any way I can alllow them to make payment for the item?

Relist the item to start at the agreed price, buyer can bid then you end early to sell to high bidder.

If they buy it they have all the usual buyer facilities and can leave feedback??????

Hi ibot4597,

 

That's a 'normal' response from a non-payer after they have received a non-pay strike.

 

There is no way you can be sure they are telling the truth so it's usually better to block and have no further dealings with them.

 

But it's up to you - if you sell you are open to all the usual such as, item not received, item not as described, bad feedback, bad DSR etc. Is it worth the chance?
