I am a little worried as I have sent quite a few items overseas but have received very little feedback! The last were sent out a week ago so all should have arrived now!

Hi,

 

If you didn't send via trackable method, then there's a risk they open an Item Not Received dispute.  Or open a SNAD dispute having found fault with the item.

 

If they were to do do so then they would need to return via on-line trackable method and at their own expense if outside the UK - which may not be cost-effective for them.

 

If within the UK, then under Distance Selling Regs the buyer is within their rights to cancel the order within 7 days of receipt.  If you don't state in returns policy that buyer pays cost to return for change of mind, then you have to reimburse that cost too.

Hi

Thanks for that, I wasn't sure about returns costs and who paid! I think I will be ok with the uk sales as I am getting feedback and most went out in ample time.

UK Halloween is over a week away - is Halloween on earlier in your buyers country?

Hi Neimaumar

No Halloween is the same date but I guess I am pre-empting problems as some of the items I sent out 3 weeks ago have not arrived yet! I have since read on the forums that other people have had problems with mail to the US. Also the naturally suspicious me is wondering what is to stop some people wearing the item for the Halloween event and then claiming non arrival in time and asking for refund?

It's all a learning curve isn't it?
