If you can prove delivery (Signed For) you should win a dispute but if you can't you will lose and have to refund the buyer.

Claim back from the Postal Service that failed to deliver.

Hi,

Don't get upset about it.  Items do get delayed, lost and even stolen in transit.  Once in RM system it's out of your hands - although as a seller you are still responsible.

Have you looked on Track & Trace to check the status?:

How long ago did you send it?  Have you asked the buyer to check with their local sorting office and neighbours as posties sometimes forget to leave a card.  Items are kept for 18 days before being returned to sender.

You will need to refund the buyer sooner rather than later though because if the dispute is escalated and still showing as undelivered, it will be found in buyer's favour and it will be recorded on your seller dashboard.

RM don't consider anything lost until 15 working days after due date of delivery.  Assuming you still have the proof of postage then you will be able to file a claim when time allows.  You need a form P58 from the PO or can download from RM website:

I'm afraid if the tracking on the royal mail website is not showing as delivered then you would have to refund the buyer in full.

Have you asked them to check with neighbours.I know some areas are piloting a leave with neighbour scheme.

If you have put a return address on the package then hopefully it will be returned to you,if its lost you can claim from RM
