I am relocating overseas and have funds left in my paypal account. I want to transfer those funds into an overseas account. Has anyone done this or know how its possible to do so as I have to close down my uk paypal account and I do not want these funds returned to the uk bank account. Any suggestions.

You would only be able to transfer to a UK bank account.

The alternative would be to send to friends pay pal account as a gift,
