some one has just bid on item. They say they wont be paying for it as their 8 year old bid with out them knowing . What can i do if they are the winning bidder ? can i wipe the bid out at all while the item is still live ?

We have heard all of the excusses on here.

 

After 4 days of non-payment open a Unpaid Item Dispute and close it after a further 4 days of non-payment.

 

They will get a strike on their account and you will get your selling fees back from eBay and will be able to relist your item if you wish.

 

Add them to your blocked bidders list.

strange how people have passwords to protect there accounts but hand them out like sweets so little johnny can bid without them knowing. Not one of the best excuses is it.

If your auction is still live tell them to retract their bid - or you can cancel the bid, and then put them on your blocked buyer list
