Ebay will not remove unfair neg feedback saying it is buyers opinion

They say its his opinion even though item is genuine!

Now my options are try to get him to revise...highly unlikely as he has ignored ALL emails & is clearly miffed about UID.

or

I can leave reply for others to read...even if I make it polite & factual this 'bad apple' may still add further malicious final comment which will make things worse for me.

Should I just leave ther whole thing & let others come to their own conclusion?  How does this neg come across as it stands?  Will even politely replying just add to her score & do me no favours at all?

Please can anyone on here give me some tips?

If you offered a full refund on return of the item and the buyer refused, respond along the lines 'buyer offered full refund but offer refused'.  Leave it at that and don't leave them feedback.

Hi again nanna,

Sometimes a follow up reply can draw more attention, but if you do reply keep it factual, and dont mention disputes,or it could be removed. If you know its genuine, then maybe say, genuine TM labelled garment

Thank you both for your help, all sounds good advise,  I will give it some more thought before doing anything.

How long does neg effect score & is there anything that improves the percentage?

I'm afraid you're probably correct - this sounds like buyer retaliation for an unpaid item dispute.

IMO eBay should give Sellers the option of voiding a sale if the buyer doesn't pay within say 7 days. If you ask for a cancellation many buyers will refuse, costing you your final value fee. But if you open an UID you end up with a buyer with a grudge before they even receive the item.

Basically all you can do is leave a polite, measured reply. Remember that he can still reply to your reply to have the last word, so I'd leave it for a few weeks until he's stopped checking your feedback, which he's probably doing at the moment.

This is yet another reminder of how massively biased against the Sellers the site has become.
