can i delete a negative feedback when the buyer had NO valid reason for leaving and never contacted me before leaving it either

I sold some empty tennis ball tubes (390453933937) and the buyer bid and paid but then left me negative feedback as she said she thought they were for balls and she didn't see why someone would sell empty tubes. She also said it wasn't clear in the listing yet it is obviously for tubes only as it says so in the title and the details and the picture. She didn't contact me before leaving the negative and I only found out what she thought when I asked her why. This has now dented my feedback.

Someone else bought a jumper (390460355681), said it was dirty and threw it away but didn't contact me before leaving negative feedback and even though I gave them a full refund i've got another neg against me.

Can i do anything about it as one was fault of buyer and the other got a full refund and neither contacted me first.

Each tube holds 4 balls.

You can see why your buyer was confused.

EBay won't change it and I'm not sure that you can even ask your buyer to consider revising it after so many weeks.

I think you will probably just have to write this one down to experience and be more careful with your descriptions. If something is empty, or missing something which some buyers might expect, you have to spell it out clearly. Never rely on commonsense - or even the buyer reading the description at all for that matter!

If you can resolve there issues then there is the possibility they might agree to a feedback revision request, changing the negs to positives,if the feedback is less than 30 days old

I had a simular problem (although not a negative just a positive with a comment)

I put in the descrition

"This Should have a bike but this is missing"

And the Buyer still Left a comment about it even though i mentioned it.

Nothing you can really do except for future makesure your descriptions clearer

Can easily understand why buyer of tubes was confused.

Title should have contained the word " empty" .

Descriptions need to be very specific....you knew you were selling empty tubes but this was not adequately conveyed to buyer...

Should this ever happen again best course of action is to immediately make contact , apologise that item did not meet expectations and offer to refund on return. If error is yours you should also offer to refund return postage too. If you are able to appease your buyer and convince them you are reasonable and genuine it is possible that they might agree to a feedback revision.
