I have had a case opened up against me by a buyer saying item was not as described I described it as having some wear but she didnt like the amount of wear it had.I have offered a full refund on return of the item at her own cost of return postage but she has refused to return it but still wants the full refund.Would like to know what the possible outcome will be when Ebay becomes involved?

ebay will most likely tell the buyer to return the item to you by trackable means, at their own expense.

 

When they provide ebay with a valid tracking number, they'll get a refund.

You can do no more than offer a full refund on return of the item.

 

When your buyer escalates the case after 8 days, they will be told to return, via tracked method, for their refund.

 

If they don't. they won't get a refund.

 

They can't go into a shop and demand a refund without returning the goods, can they?

 

On ebay. No return=No refund.
