I have been told that an item i sent was not as described.  ~The buyer has found a few little marks and wants a refund.  To be honest i never noticed any marks when i posted it and would be happy to get the item back.  Also the buyer had 2 items so postage was combined - what do i do.  I am trying to be an honest, fair seller.  I am not trying to make tons of money from my items, i am just clearing out before we move house and fed up just giving my stuff away for nothing. The buyer only paid £1.04 for the item.  Are buyers being really picky or are they too wanting stuff for nothing?  Its making me think about selling on ebay, as the buyer has the 'trump' card when it comes to my reputation.  Can anyone advise what i should do?

you must get item returned first or may be the last you see of it

buyer returns at their expense using online tracking before a refund

a good seller will fund return if at fault but is not obliged to

buyer is due full refund of original payment

buyer must return using online tracking. For £1.04 i would just refund as they can leave feedback you do not want is it worth it.

Hi, Thanks for your comments, and I know that's what i will do - i just needed to get it out of my system.  But its just very disappointing...  I recently bought a few items for my teenage daughter that were 'not what i'd expected' but i accepted that these were second hand i hadn't paid too much for them (a lot more than £1.04) but in the spirit of ebay - you just accept it - they weren't unusable.  What are people looking for?  if they want new items then go to the high street and pay the price!
