am i able to cancel a transaction then offer a second chance as i,m dubious wether the buyer intends to pay

Just sold 2 items(sat) to one person & they promised to pay today, i,ve emailed them with no response. At the moment i,m dubious wether they will pay as with only 10 FB 1 was a non payment. My question is can i cancel this transaction & then offer a 2nd chance or do i have to go through the start a non payment case & wait a further 4 days? many thanks.

Tedious as it may seem you really need to finish off one transaction before starting another - this would entail going through the unpaid item case.

You can't open it til 4 days after close of sale though and the buyer may still pay with any luck - lots of people wait a couple of days before paying so too soon to write them off!

If you dont go through the unpaid procedure, you run the risk of 2 buyers for 1 item. Negative feedback and reported for non-performance would soon follow.

If you don't complete unpaid item disputes then you will still have to pay final valuations fees on the unpaid items.

Your non-paying buyers will also be free to leave you whatever feedback and star ratings that they feel like.

Non-payers are the most scrupulous of people.

They will either pay or they wont, and you have to wait 4 days to find out,and ebay will send them a payment reminder in the meantime.

If they dont pay you report non payment and complete the case before offering 2nd chance offers or relisting, otherwise you face reports of seller non performance, and neg feedback. No point in offering cancellation of the transaction as they likely wont agree.

Its early days and not all buyers pay immediately.

You have the option of adding them to your blocked bidder list in the meantime

you cannot cancel because buyers have to agree . Go through the non payment dispute this is the only way to stop time wasters bidding on auctions.

Today isn't over.  Perhaps they're not on-line 24/7 and still at work/returning from work.
